Location

Parking
Parking is free in front of the house all day with no restrictions. If, when you arrive during office hours there are no spaces then you can park right outside to offload your luggage and then find a parking space nearby. From early evening as office staff depart, your vehicle can be parked in front of your bedroom window in full view with excellent street lighting, vehicles are generally very safe overnight in the Ladyhead part of North Street.

Trains
The nearest railway station to St Andrews is at Leuchars Junction some eight miles away on the road to Dundee and close to RAF Leuchars. There is a half hourly bus service to and from St.Andrews / Dundee and this connects at Leuchars with the London / Edinburgh / Aberdeen train. Taxis wait continuously at Leuchars and the fare is around £10.

Buses
Buses to and from Edinburgh and Glasgow leave every hour and will take two hours and two and a half hours respectively to get to these main centres.

Beaches and Golf
St.Andrews has the some of the cleanest beaches in Scotland, three in fact, West Sands/Castle Sands/East Sands.The golf is legendary with five main courses locally and 60 courses within a short car journey of the town.(see links)
